A modern-day dramedy in 2008 involving 5 masked senior citizens who kidnap the CEO of a TARP-funded bank, drag him to a furniture warehouse where they hold him accountable for his actions.
The thing is: will the CEO be clever enough to apologize for his behavior and give them the answers they’re looking for before they hang him? The kidnapping unexpectedly turns into a deeper and more significant projection over the future of our financial crisis.
STATEMENT
You Just Don’t Get It…asks a multitude of political, social and cultural questions, the list of which would be too long to mention. However, the main question and thrust of the play is: Why were Americans afraid to “storm the Bastille” and demand their inalienable rights?
